Umoja Art Village, Inc. is a non profit, tax exempt arts oriented organization. Umoja Art Village, Inc. is one of the recent arts project of Dr. Margaret Burroughs. As Many of you know Dr. Burroughs is the founder and President Emeritus for the first African-American Museum in the World; "The DuSable Museum of African American History, Inc."

Umoja Art Village, Inc. educates, restores and helps you gain pride in our rich African-American history through art and travel. These art forms for children can be non-threatening and provide a prolific healing experience!  Travel experiences are for adults and children. Children travel & participate @ the discretion of their parent-guardian/s. We travel to Africa, Brazil, Canada,Cuba, Egypt , France and Jamaica.
